Potter Manor; Western Country, England
Potter Manor has been around for quite some time, and was once (long, long, long ago) where Ignatius Peverell lived. It closely resembles other Manor Houses, including Malfoy Manor. On the outside it is made from cherry wood, but was painted a light peach color, that closely resembles beige. However a small portion at the land level is made entirely from brick, and contains the upper part of the basement.
On the inside it is large and spacious, with many extra rooms, which are commonly used as guest rooms. However, Marlene and Sirius now have official rooms. There are many portraits of past family members along the walls, and every single one of them is nearly almost always friendly, Slytherins being the exception. There's much more then the basic rooms as well, including a study, a loft, etc. There are about 5 bathrooms through out the house, each one just like every other room, big and spacious.
The yard, like everything else, is also spacious (are you tired of the word?). It is like most of the Western Country, Moor Land with the exception of a forest facing the north. This makes the yard a /perfect/ place to play quidditch, which contributes to why Marlene and James enjoy the sport so much, and are unusually talented at it.
